just got home from orchard..what a long day :]
the day started off with me, sis and all going down to uncle's new salon.
located at ang mo kio central, this shop is definately more accessible as compared to the one at avenue 10. However, the shop is very small...the intial shop sapce was being split into 3 segments and the space uncle rented did not have a washroom with the front of the shop being rented to this 2nd handphone shop..the worst thing was the shopowner is so
mean...she does not allow my uncle's workers to use the washroom that's on her side of the shop...so the workers had to use the public toilets that are nearby...luckily uncle said it's gonna be a termporary shop to build up customer grounds while hunting for a better shop space...
hope he finds one soon :)
got my hair cut by this new guy called Alvin..he's one patient and soft-spoken guy...i admire his patience in cutting my hair for i'm definately one fussy customer when it comes to hairstyling...heehee...the outcome of the haircut: VERY SATISFIED..
then we all had lunch at S11 foodcourt...here's another advantage about the new shop, it's surrounded by good food!! Kenji was commenting that he's bound to grow fat working there...haahaa...he better not grow too fat for the shop's walkway is already very narrow...
with the new haircut and satisfied lunch, we headed to town for xmas shopping...have to get pressies for each other...gosh..orchard was so crowded..SALES are going on everywhere...since we already had in mind what we wanted to buy, the route was all planned out.
1) wheelock place - to get a book frm borders and some chocs frm marks & spencer
2) wisma - to get a bottle of body mist and cranberry shimmer lotion frm the body shop
3) taka - hokkaido ice-cream and singtel shop
4) paragon - dinner at soup spoon
And so by the time we all got home, it was already past midnight and my legs are aching...
Shall rest my legs now...but before i go off...here are some photos to share :)
